Do you have a word for 2018? Mine is Love. I want to Love myself, put more Love out into the world, show more Love. Love. word of the year

For the past number of years, I’ve adopted the practice of thoughtfully choosing a word to guide me for the coming year. To make it a part of my everyday life, I’ve created a canvas with my word front and center and hung it where I can’t miss it. Want more to think about?  Read up about it on My One Word‘s page.

Not only is this a great workshop to learn some mixed media techniques, you’ll leave with your finished Word of the Year Canvas to help you focus in the coming year. We’ll use collage material, stencils, acrylic paint, hand lettering (or vinyl letters if you wish), and whatever else feels right that day!

Everything is supplied for this class. You’ll have your choice from a variety of canvases and wood panels. I can’t guarantee sizes, however, so feel free to bring your own canvas or panel if a specific size is important to you!  word of the year

You have two (2) Classtime options!
  • Afternoon Word of the Year will meet 1 pm to 4:00 pm on Thursday, January 25
  • Evening Word of the Year will meet 6 – 9:00 pm on Thursday, January 25

No experience is necessary, but the minimum age to participate is 16.

All Materials are SUPPLIED!

Minimum 4 to make the class. We’ll cap it at 10 people, total.

As we know the weather in January can be sorta iffy – if the Paducah or McCracken County Schools are closed due to road conditions the day of your class, we will reschedule.

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
