Art Journaling Series
January 31, 2017 - February 21, 2017
8:00 am - 10:30 am
What a better way to get through winter than brightening it up with art-making! This 4-week series will not only get you out of the house, it is a fantastic way to explore new techniques, try a bunch of new stuff without fear, and have it all for review in a spiral-bound journal you can take wherever life leads you.
This workshop series will give beginners the confidence to start an art journaling practice and hand experienced journalers tools and tricks to enhance their adventures. We’ll meet 4 Tuesdays in January/February from 1 to 3:30 pm each week.
We keep the class size small and that adds to the magic. Spend a few Tuesday afternoons with other mixed media lovers and folks who share your passion for cool pens, stencils, all kinds of acrylic paints, and the supplies that make you go, “Ooooooooohhhh!”
The registration fee includes your journal and weekly additions to your arsenal of tools — my favorite “have to have” art journaling supplies. And, who knows what I’ll find at CHA in January. More cool Stuff!!
Since it is wintertime, we will make arrangements for make-up classes in case of inclement weather. Ephemera Paducah policy is if the City of Paducah or McCracken County Schools are closed, classes are postponed at the Studio, as well.
No experience is necessary, but the minimum age to participate is 16. Minimum 3 to make the class. We’ll cap it at 6 people, total.
