I’m in love with Dropcloth Samplers and the newest one, Drawing Stitches, is magnificent. It’s got more stitches than any other sampler in Rebecca Ringquist’s collection <<<swoon>>>.
Inspired by the marks she found herself making in her own sketchbooks, this sampler is packed with no less than 31 different stitches for you to discover, practice, and master. According to Rebecca, “you’ll be left with a work of art to hang on your wall and a reference point for future embroidery projects.”
We’ll stitch through a bunch of them! Meeting weekly on three (3) Thursdays from 11 am to 1 pm, we’ll put a dent in this sampler and talk through stitches we may not get to.
Your registration fee covers the sampler, hoop, and your choice of cotton fabric for backing from the Studio Stash.
Students will need to provide their own needles and embroidery floss (choose a palette of your liking). We have some at Ephemera Paducah, too, for purchase.
