Daytime Mixed Media - July 27
July 27, 2016
10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Please register online to secure your spot in class! We need at least 3 registered by 5:00 pm the day before class for this to make.
Each month we enjoy “Mixed Media” which is code for “Kristin wants to make fun stuff with fun people.” You don’t have to have any experience to come to Mixed Media, just an adventurous spirit and no fear of getting messy.
This month you’ll get started on a project I’ve fallen in love with. As a “junker,” I have a very hard time passing up unfinished handmade projects when I see them. Last year on the 400-Mile Garage Sale, I came across a stack of 1962 Quilt Blocks that were never finished. Inspired by my StencilGirl friend, Mary Beth Shaw, I stenciled one and then stitched it. I. Love. It. and want to share my process with you, too.
We’ll paint and stitch and embellish. Your finished piece could turn into a pillow, journal cover, or needlebook or who knows where your imagination will take you!
As always, all materials are supplied and when you shop during Mixed Media Day/Night all merchandise (excluding commissions) is 25% off!
You don’t have to have experience to attend our monthly Mixed Media workshops, but the minimum age for participation is 16. Thanks!
Can’t wait!!
