Something new! A Day-long Paper Printing & Altering Extravaganza!

If you are into Art Journaling or Collage, you know how much you LOVE using papers that are totally unique to you, and you know what a pain it can be to take up all the space in your studio to make them! paper palooza

If you’ve taken one of our Gelli Plate Workshops, or done paper printing at home, you know what an “event” it is pulling out paints, paper, the Gelli plates, and having enough drying room for all your luscious paper pulls. And, if you’ve used solvents to alter papers, you know how stinky they can be. Having an outside space and big studio makes is soooo much easier to enjoy this processes.

We can solve all that in one fun day!

We are going to have a day of paper manipulation and printing so you can learn so new techniques and end up with a stack of beautiful papers to use in your artwork, cardmaking, collage or art journaling.

In the morning we’ll work with National Geographic Magazine page, & solvents that do really cool things. We’ll use stencils, and tissue papers to create some beautiful transparent papers to use in your work. I’ve fallen in love with Rice paper and we’ll use stamps, inks and other tools to create some fun stuff.

After a pizza lunch, we’ll get out the gel printing plates and explore what we can do with paints and alcohol inks. Heck, we may even have a surprise pop-up demo from a Celebrity Guest!

The last hour or so of the day you’ll be free-range using the studio papers and suppGelli Platelies to create with wild abandon!

You will leave with a stack of beautiful papers to use! Fun! Fun! Fun!

Almost EVERYTHING is provided for this class, including lunch! We’ll have a pizza party so we don’t even have to leave the building.
