Hand-painted, customized, leather jackets are one of the hottest trends in the clothing industry these days and are sure to be a perfect accessory for any occasion be it casual or a formal event.
In this two-day workshop, Debi Adams will demonstrate a variety of ways to paint flowers as well as other designs onto leather jackets using paints specifically designed for leather (they will not crack or peel off).
You will spend a portion of your first day practicing and refining the techniques taught in class before approaching the actual project.
The second day will be spent completing the jacket and adding custom lettering. With the average retail cost of finished jackets ranging from $600.00 or more (many are upwards of $1000.00), this is a great opportunity to learn a new skill in a fun workshop environment while paying a fraction of the cost. Win-Win-Win!
You may have a little-worn leather or faux leather jacket hanging in your closet right now that needs some love. Or, this is a great excuse to hit the consignment and thrift stores for a perfect jacket to adorn with painty goodness! Regardless, pick one out and Debi will show you how to turn it into a fashion statement.
