Come to Ephemera Paducah September 4-7, 2019 for adventures, art instruction, outstanding camaraderie, art making and, so. much. stinking. fun.

You know what incredible mixed media instructors Seth Apter and Mary Beth Shaw are, right? You know how much fun they are to hang around with. You know with Mary Beth in the house, of course, there will be Stencils! Stencils! Stencils!

And, hopefully, you know that Ephemera Paducah is known for its hospitality, great supplies, awesome workshop space and attention to detail?

Add those reputations together and kick it up 20 notches then you’ll just begin to imagine what we’re planning for the Magical Mystery Tour. Seriously.

Based in the UNESCO Creative City of Paducah, KY, with most art instruction at the Ephemera Paducah Studio, the group will be limited to 22 participants and 6 staff. You will be pampered, surprised, taken on a few field trips, and given the tools, instruction, time and space to make art.

We are working to make this as easy as possible with airport pickups & dropoffs, a transportation schedule to/from the retreat hotel, many, many, many supplies included, etc.

Lodging is not included in your registration fee. Our Retreat Hotel is Auburn Suites, the #1 hotel in Paducah ranked on Tripadvisor. The retreat rate is $79 a night which includes a hot breakfast buffet each morning and milk & cookies in the evening! You don’t have to stay at the retreat hotel, but any transportation provided for the retreat, to/from Ephemera Paducah, the airport, etc., will use this location. The link to register and details will be emailed mid-November to those who register for the workshop. 

We’re not going to say much more about it because of the “Magical” and “Mystery” part of this retreat!

Please note: there will be a level of activity associated with this event including urban walking, getting off/on transportation, stairs, and extended hours.

You will need to bring a Basic Supply Kit and we’ll email details out closer to the Retreat Date for what you need to bring.

We fully expect this event to sell out. Quickly. 

We will maintain a waitlist of 20. If someone registers and a situation occurs that she/he can’t attend, we will share waitlist information with him/her.

Registration Options:

• There are five (5) “Early Bird” spots at $999 each – payment in full, only.
• Payment in full of $1,199.
• Make a deposit of $199 and set up automatic payments from your bank to Ephemera. Paducah that pay $210 a month for 5 months – starting January 2019 and ending May 2019 for a total of $1,249.
• Make a deposit of $399 and pay two more installments of $450 for a total of $1,299; Payments are due February 15, 2019, and May 15, 2019, and reminders will be sent.
