Each month we enjoy “Mixed Media” which is code for “Kristin wants to make fun stuff with fun people.” You don’t have to have any experience to come to Mixed Media, just an adventurous spirit and no fear of getting messy.
Our September Mixed Media will be spent exploring the numerous ways you can achieve image transfers in your artwork. We’ll be using packing tape, blending pens, gel medium, and other cool supplies to get those lovely, dreamy images to use in your collage and other paper arts adventures.
Please bring at least 10 images each from Inkjet and Toner Cartridge printers. Make sure you which copies are what as it makes a difference with some techniques. Black & White and Color will both work so mix it up. Images should be no larger than 4″ x 6″.
As always, all materials are supplied and when you shop during Mixed Media Day/Night all merchandise (excluding commissions) is 25% off!
You don’t have to have experience to attend our monthly Mixed Media workshops, but the minimum age for participation is 16. Thanks!
