You’ve asked for it! We are going to do it! This 2-day workshop will be a fantastic way to dive into Art Journaling! You will explore new techniques, try a bunch of products without fear, and have it all for review in a bound journal you can take wherever life leads you.
We LOVE Art Journaling at Ephemera Paducah and think you will, too. NO drawing required. If you’ve been attracted to painting, journaling, lettering, odd bits of paper and mementos, this is the 2-day workshop for you.
We’ll talk some basics like color theory and composition. You’ll learn what products work best in your journal and actually go home with a great starter kit. We will explore painting in your journal as well as incorporating collage and ephemera (of course!)
This workshop will give beginners the confidence to start an art journaling practice and hand experienced artists some new tools and tricks to enhance their adventures.
One of the best parts of this class is EVERYTHING is supplied, including your brand- spanking-new journal! You are welcome to bring some of your favorite things, but seriously, you can just. show. up. Boom! Lunch and snacks included, too, so you have no excuse!
No experience is necessary, but the minimum age to participate is 16.
Do you have friends who would enjoy this class, too? One of you needs to choose the option of “The Loft + Class” and you can stay upstairs! It sleeps 8 friends in six (6) beds. Check out photos and a description on the website under The Loft.
Minimum 5 to make the class. We’ll cap it at 15 total.
